At Vocalysd we believe in the enhancement and improvement of person to person interaction through ethical and transparent use of conversational analytics (“Services”). Vocalysd also wishes to recognise the users utilising the website and their reasonable expectation of their privacy. This policy applies to you if you are:

  • a visitor to our website; or
  • a customer who has an agreement for the Services that we provide (the terms of such agreement shall take precedence over this Privacy Policy in the event of any conflict); or
  • an individual whose data is processed as part of the provision of our Services.

If we undergo a change in ownership, or a merger with, acquisition by, or sale of assets to, another entity, we may assign our rights to the personal data we process to a successor, purchaser, or separate entity. We will disclose the transfer on the website. If you are concerned about your personal data migrating to a new owner, you may request us to delete your personal data.

Performance of the Services

Vocalysd’s customer is the “data controller” of the personal information processed by Vocalysd to perform the Services. Vocalysd will process personal information as specified in its agreement with its customers and their documented additional written instructions to the extent necessary for Vocalysd to:

1) Comply with its obligations under applicable data protection law;

2) Assist the customer to comply with its controller obligations under applicable data protection law.

Vocalysd, by default does not store audio recordings relating to the services it provides to customers. In cases where storing is required, audio recordings are securely stored and encrypted on behalf of customers.



Your rights

Data portability
: If you should wish to transfer your data from us to another data controller we will facilitate this transfer.

Updating or removing
: You may choose to correct or update the personal data you have submitted to us by contacting us. We will delete any personal data that you don’t want us to have.

Restriction of processing
: You may request that we restrict the use of your personal data. When we restrict your personal data, we still have the right to store it but not use it.


If you are a data subject of one of our customers (who is the data controller), then you must submit your request for your personal data
to the relevant data controller, who will then export your personal data. Vocalysd will provide reasonable assistance with requests from
individuals to access, delete or erase, restrict, rectify, receive and transmit, block access to or object to processing of Services personal
information on Vocalysd systems.


Personal Data Collection and Use (Vocalysd as data controller)

On registration

Once you register on our website or you become a customer you may provide us with certain personal data including:

  • your name and surname; or
  • your email address; or
  • your telephone number; or
  • your company name, company registration number, and VAT number; or
  • your postal address or street address; or
  • your username and password

For example, all data provided by our customers as part of the Services is secured using encryption. Data Layer Protection is applied to remove all user-specific information and personally identifiable information. We will notify individuals, customers or the relevant supervisory authority of a data breach in accordance with applicable law.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purposes explicitly set out in this policy, unless retention of
the record is required or authorised by law or you have consented to the retention of the record.

Accurate and up to date

We will try to keep the personal data we collect as accurate, complete and up to date as is necessary for the purposes defined in this policy.
Throughout your interaction with us you retain the right to rectify personal data that is incorrect or inaccurate. This does not apply if we
process your personal data in our capacity as a processor on behalf of our clients.
